A Palestinian militant leader said on Tuesday that a captured Israeli soldier is being held in a "secure place". About 3,000 Israeli troops, along with tanks and armored vehicles, were massed along Israel's border with Gaza in response. Commanders said they were fully prepared and waiting for orders to move in.
